Arriving in Sofia
Sofia Airport
Sofia has one airport : Sofia International Airport “Vasil Levski”, which is connected with metro and bus lines that will bring you to the center of Sofia or back to the airport. There are 2 terminals.
Terminal 1 (“the old terminal”) and Terminal 2 (“the new terminal”).
The metro goes to terminal 2. Shuttle busses (free of charge) travel between the two terminals. If you have to move from the metro at terminal 2 to terminal 1, please plan more time (up to an hour extra) to be sure you won’t miss your flight from terminal 1. The shuttle busses run every 30 min.

Taxi
All taxis are equipped with meters that show what you have to pay once your trip with the taxi starts. On the taxi car there should be a sticker on the window specifying the prices per kilometre. Check these before you choose your taxi. There might be differences in the prices.
Car
If you travel by car, you will need to buy a vignette upon entering the country. This can be done at the border or online.
The Sofia centre is relatively crowded and finding parking is difficult. Parking there is paid. There are 2 zones – Green and Blue. The prices for these 2 zones are different. On the street where you park a sign will show the zone and how can you pay.
